Tokina Adds New Day/Night and Extended Range Varifocals
to its Extensive CCTV Lens Line
Tokina is meeting industry demand with the addition of the TVR-2514DCIR and the
TVR-2714, two varifocals that enhance its already extensive line of high quality CCTV
lenses. The TVR-2714 meets almost all CCTV applications with its range of 2.7 mm to
12.5 mm, and the TVR-2514DCIR Day/Night lens features an auto iris DC with infrared
coatings and optics.
Both lenses carry a three-year warranty and are manufactured to meet Tokinaís stringent
quality demands developed during more than 50 years as a renowned high quality photographic
lens provider worldwide. The exceptional quality features include; metal barrels, superior
glass grinding, polishing, processing and proprietary color corrected lens coating.
The TVR-2514DCIR was developed utilizing Tokinaís many years of optical design expertise,
enabling them to incorporate a workable Day/Night infrared varifocal with a responsive
range of 450nm - 930nm. The applicable zoom range of the lens is 2.5 mm to 8.0 mm with a
1.4 aperture. Currently this 1/3ÅECS mount lens is available in DC auto iris.
Tokinaís TVR-2714 lens provides a 2.7 mm to 12.5 mm extended range and is available in
manual, DC and video auto iris versions.

years ISC West show in Las Vegas. Tokina will also announce the release of their board
level 1/4ÅEvarifocals that will be available in both standard and day/night versions.
