Tokina Industrial Introduces an
All Glass Aspherical With an Extremely Wide Angle
Tokina Industrial Inc. has introduced what they are calling "the pride of our fleet," a brand new 1/3" CS mount varifocal that utilizes an all glass aspherical design. The new varifocal, part of the TVR2314 series, provides an extreme wide angle of 2.3mm and extends to 6mm.
The all glass aspheric lens is used in the TVR2314 series to make it both faster and more importantly, to give it distortion free properties at these wide angles. It utilizes Tokinaís exclusive production techniques. "No other lens manufacturer makes that kind of wide angle on a varifocal in a popular price market.
The TVR2314 Series is perfect for small, contained areas such as elevators. The width also allows it to be used on the new º" cameras.
