Tokina Introduces a New 3.3-8
Miniature 1/3" Varifocal Line
Tokina Industrial has redesigned the TVR3314, its 1/3" - 3.3-8 CS Mount
Varifocal line of lenses, making them approximately 30% smaller without
giving up their minimum aperture of F1.4.
Keeping the F1.4 aperture along with the ultra-compact design is definitely
a new benchmark and advantage since the aperture is the ratio of the front
glass element to the rear glass.
In spite of the new ultra-compact design, the TVR3314 continues to boast
superior lens coatings to enhance the video imagery, metal barrel fabrication
in the lens design and all glass color corrected elements. In addition, the
auto iris version stops down to F360, as does all of Tokinaís auto iris lenses.
The new 3.3-8 varifocal line represents Tokinaís commitment of bringing to
market the finest product Japan has to offer packed with added features and
new innovations.
The new ultra-compact version of the TVR3314 will be available in manual
(TVR3314), Video auto Iris (TVR3314AI), DC Auto Iris (TVR3314DC) and in
Fixed Iris (TVR3314NI).
