Tokina Sets New Standard for CCTV Lenses
with the Introduction of Motorized Varifocals
Expanding upon their "Varifocals Plus" strategy, Tokina Industrial Inc. has
introduced Motorized Varifocal lenses, a new and ground-breaking category of
lenses that sets a fresh standard in CCTV lens design. No other lens company
has taken steps to motorize their line of varifocal lenses.
The first of these new and exclusive Motorized Varifocal lenses is Tokina’s
TVR0616AIPN.
Tokina took the TVRO616, its best selling 6-60 1/3" CS Mount Varifocal, and added
Zoom and Focus Motors as well as Preset Potentiometers. The iris function of the
new lens is still Video Auto Iris.
This new Motorized Varifocal lens system will afford numerous opportunities for
security, imaging and industrial vision systems," added Wolk.
When the original TVRO6016 was introduced last year, it went beyond competitors'
5-50mm range with a focal length of 6-60mm and, like the complete line of Tokina
CCTV lenses, boasts superior lens coatings to enhance the video imagery and metal
barrel fabrication in the lens design. Tokina is one of the last lens manufacturers
to offer metal barrel fabrication.
The TVRO616AIPN Motorized Varifocal series is a perfect addition to our other
Varifocals. We’re always one step ahead of every other CCTV lens manufacturer.
The new TVRO616AIPN Motorized Varifocal will be introduced in April at the ISC West
show in Las Vegas
